The 96-10041 was made by Estey for PANaramic, Titano, and possibly other OEMs in the 1960-1964 years. The 96-10041 was a continuation of the 213 with some circuit improvements, most noteably of which, was in the pre-amp stage. An extra 12AX7 section was added so that the two input channels were independent of each other completely. Whereas the 213 had a single shared tone control for both channels, the 96-10041 has individual tone controls for each channel.
However, where both channels in the 213 were sent to the vibrato effect, for the 96-10041, only channel No.1 goes to the vibrato. Channel No.2 is completely clean. This would optionally allow two inputs to the amp, one for accordion and one for vocals.
The 96-10041 also added a stereo input jack that let a single cable feed both channels (not a mono plug, but a stereo plug).
While Estey's Magnatone line switched from the 61-63 models to the Custom Series "suitcase" amps in mid-1963, OEM's like PANcordion and Titano contracted with Estey to continue building the more traditional style amplifiers they had been buying since 1960.
Some circuit changes came along at this time that may the amp quieter, slightly louder. The 6.3v filament centertap was lifted to the cathodes of the 6V6's (quieter), and a solid state rectifier replaced the 5Y3 (louder).
