The MP4 and MP5 were "piggy-back" style amps and cabinets (what are now called "heads" and "cabinets") and is a direct attempt to compete with Fender with a physical design which is nearly identical to the Fender Bandmaster or Bassman.
Both the MP4 and MP5 have two channels. The MP4 is a bass head, each channel has volume, treble, and bass controls. The MP5 is a guitar head with volume, treble, and bass controls for each channel, plus tremolo and reverb.
See MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, and MP5 pages for details of other Pro Series amplifiers.
