The 411 is small economy amplifier. There is a single volume control, a tone control, and a tremolo intensity control (no speed control).
The triode section of the 6GW8 is used as the oscillator for the tremolo.
The early amps had gold control panels, but this was changed to black in 1965. In 1966, the 411 became the 412. This model was much more popular, in terms of orders from distributors and dealers, that any of the other Starlite amps.
With the 412 designation, the cabinet and the faceplate where remodeled.
